How to Use a Sugargoo Spreadsheet Without Losing the Details

A Sugargoo spreadsheet is useful when it helps you compare identifiable products. A long list of attractive photos is only the starting point. Turn each promising find into a small record you can check again at checkout.

Choose a small set of candidates

Begin with the job the item needs to do: a sweatshirt that fits an existing outfit, shoes for a particular use, or a bag that holds specific objects. This makes it easier to reject a listing that looks appealing but lacks the dimensions or options you need.

Keep two or three candidates for each job. Give each one a reason to stay on the list and one unresolved question. For example, a bag might have suitable outer dimensions but no information about the width of the opening. That question matters more than how many times its photo appears in other sheets.

Give every column a purpose

Use the same fields for every candidate so missing information stays visible. This is a SUGARGOOX planning method, not a promise that sellers supply all of these details.

IdentitySource marketplace, seller, product URL and source item ID
SelectionExact colour, size or version, plus quantity
CostCurrency, selected-option price, date and domestic delivery fee
EvidenceSeller photo, size chart, actual QC photo or unverified claim

Reopen the source before paying

An entry can remain in a spreadsheet after its original offer changes. Check the live product identity and selected option again, then update the price date. Sugargoo's own search guide describes reviewing the seller link, product options and quantity after a source URL loads.

Treat a broken link as unresolved. A visually similar replacement can have a different seller, construction or size chart. Keep the original reference and create a new candidate record for the replacement rather than quietly overwriting the evidence.

Keep discovery separate from approval

Use simple statuses: discovered, source checked, ready to order, received for QC, and ready to ship. Moving a row forward should mean a question has been answered.

The directory page is a place to discover and compare; the official order screen is where you confirm the current purchase. Preserve your shortlist even after ordering so warehouse photos can be checked against what you actually chose.
