Keep historical evidence attached to its conditions
The official article updated on 17 October 2025 showed two 3kg clothing examples: Île-de-France at US$42.75 via EU IOSS-Free & Tax Free (Actual Weight), and Madrid at US$39.81 via DHL IOSS-Free & Tax Free -D. Both listed 10–15 days. These are historical estimates, not current rates.
The route labels identify those examples; they do not establish the present legal or tax treatment of your purchase. Check current destination requirements and the service provider's written inclusions before payment.

What a community example can tell you
In a Reddit discussion about 1688 clothing sent to Spain, the questioner proposed a 3–4kg order. A commenter recalled paying roughly €30–40 for about 3kg. The visible exchange did not supply a complete invoice or sufficiently precise route conditions to reproduce the price.
That account is useful as a research lead: it shows the question buyers are trying to answer. For your budget, request a quote with the missing information instead of averaging unrelated comments into a regional price.

Compare countries without duplicating assumptions
If you are considering delivery to different countries, keep the goods and packing constant. Change the destination deliberately and record which routes remain available. Check the receiving arrangement too: using a friend's address creates a second delivery task if the goods must then be sent onward.
For France, Germany, Spain or another destination, save the full route label, postcode, charged weight, displayed total and quote date. Add a line for charges that remain unresolved. A quote with a missing cost is incomplete, even if its headline is low.
Treat multiple cartons as a separate shipment
For wholesale clothing, provide carton-by-carton dimensions and weights. Explain whether the order contains mixed categories or packaging that must remain intact. Request documentation and delivery conditions appropriate to the actual shipment.
Keep the destination-specific quote with the source order and QC record. This joins sourcing, packing and delivery into one auditable decision. It also makes a later support question easier to answer because the provider can see what was agreed, not just a remembered price per kilogram.
